Woke up, had some coffee, brainstorming picked right back up.
I zoomed in on a little bit of character background that Greg jotted down and expanded on it.
Turns out, I tapped into the psychological engine of the whole story – why the leads are the way they are and the significance of the titular hotel
Whoa.
Sent a full-page brain dump of this revelation to Greg.
He replied, “i gasped. this is so good. yesyesyes”

Discussed the new four-page treatment, general approval of it
We banged and kicked and mangled the plot to see what it actually needs (and what it might not need)
Later that night after I got home and should’ve been sleeping, I had a brainstorm session inspired by all the kicking we just did, wrote a lot of ideas down until I couldn’t think anymore.
