Adam Rabin

  • Laid down a really good lead vocal for “Winter Song” today. Chris’ tips were a huge help and Kate provided additional guidance and support.
  • Tomorrow I hope to work on some combination of flute, piano, lead guitar parts.

Groundhog Day

  • Remixed just about all the rest of the Dig album over the last few days. Went really easily since the 2006 remix I did was pretty close.

  • Last night and this morning I finished writing the song for the opening scene. Very pleased; it hits all the notes I wanted to hit.

  • Been practicing vocals for “Winter Song” in hopes of being ready for a stress-free tracking session this weekend.
  • New Year’s Eve release?

Groundhog Day

  • On a whim, remixed “And Comes in Dreams” and “Salsa #5” the last couple days. That’s some weird stuff.

Mailbox

  • Past couple days finished up a simple remaster (with a few remixed tracks) of Irrelevant, Look What You Made Me Do, and Attempt No Landing.
  • This completes updating of Mailbox studio album catalog.

Elephants of Scotland

  • Still ironing our some passages and riffs for “Winter Song.”
  • I think I have it where it needs to be now.
  • I still don’t know how or if we’ll be able to record as a group. Might have to go solo.

  • Another excellent 90-minute writing session with Greg.
  • Finalized a new small spoken passage that helps round out the leading woman’s story arc.
  • Further refined the song list including removing 2 or 3 proposed songs. Ahhh, made my job a lot easier.
  • After the call I finished writing “B.O.P.” song by adding a couple verses and tweaking the dialog between verses.
