- Pilot track for possible year-long project. Not sure I’m up for it.

Slow week creatively. Needed recharging time.
HH Musical
- Had 2.5 hour chat with Greg about one scene – the big climax scene.
- A lot happens in that scene and it was taking too long to get to all that action so we removed the song from the beginning of the scene – chop!
- The scene also ends kind of limp. The epilogue that follows has the big musical number. We’re thinking of dropping the epilogue and making this scene the last one and putting the final number here. The plot has played itself out so let’s wrap it up.

- Laid down a very rough piano part for “FK” to send her and Myra for feedback.
- Not being modest but I’m not the right piano player for this idea. I hope I got the idea across.
- Any decent soul/blues/gospel player could bang this out in minutes.
The show I did last week with Tim is being broadcast tonight (now?) but I was too wrapped up in DC’s tune to listen in. I’m sure it’s fine.

- Felt good to open the play up again.
- Created an Instagram account for the play. Partly to secure the name of the play (not likely to get snagged) but also because the play itself mentions posting to IG.

- Barely know what I’m doing.

- Did read-through of Act I with Greg.
- No real issues we with book.
- Some lingering issues with song placement and song purposes.
