Second day of vocal tracking with Chris Titchner.
“Vanishing Twin” and “Too Many Voices”
The latter of which FINALLY works now that it’s in the right key, has the right singer, and is wicked fast
So damn good

Guide vocal for “Vanishing Twin” in new key for Chris
Scratch guitar for “Too Many Voices”
- was originally 128bpm which was kind of a groovy dance vibe
- bumped it up to 132bpm which was a bit more energetic
- did a second version at 138bpm which is borderline nuts
- we’ll decide which tempo is best tomorrow.

Complete lead vocals for “How To Do Nothing” and “Tempest of Tarragon”
So great to have a pro trained singer nailing every take and also not having to be both the producer and the singer.

Hatchford Hotel (though this might have been May 24th)

Was reviewing the rewrites Greg and I did and realized I forgot to remove some of the lines we agreed to remove.
Also found a couple small logistical issues.
Script is now down to 96 pages (pending Greg’s sign off)
Remember when it was 172 pages?

Added in new intro piece “Stasis” that will get reprised in a fuller fashion later.

Re-wrote tab for guitar which, now that it’s above E, can utilize the lower strings.
