  • A few band practices. Starting to come together
  • We’ve passed from “Oh, shit. This is never going to happen” to “I wish we had just a few more practices before our first show.”

Hatchford Hotel

  • Woke up to receive Greg’s verses for Chester for the opening number.
  • I had a pass at them. He had a pass at my pass. All before my second cup of coffee.
  • Nailed it.
  • I also marked up the story summary and script with an idea to lose a cumbersome plot point.
    • We’ll discuss it later.

Elephants of Scotland

  • Got Lyle’s backing vocals for “How To Do Nothing” last night
  • Sounds awesome
  • Did a first mix/master of the song. Holy crap, it’s good.
  • Meanwhile, Greg was working on the words for “As Whale Song.”

  • Drum practice
  • More drum practice

  • Cleaned up and re-sequenced “The Ones You Chose” album over the last two days
    • Was originally recorded and released as I went so it needed some unification.

Hatchford Hotel

  • Spent last 10 days writing and rewriting the opening number “Here, Right Here”
  • Had an epic Zoom session with Greg to iron out Chester’s voice and personality so we knew exactly how to write for him
