  • Used newly-functioning acoustic pick up to do test recordings. I’ve never been happy with my finger picking recordings. The tests today had two mics and the line from the pick up and it sounds beautiful.
  • Bought a Ludwig Acrolite snare drum from the 70s; sounds sweet. I love my Gretsch kit but could never get the wooden snare to pop like I want. The Ludwig is aluminum; crack!
